Ella's Cake

Ella and I had a chance to learn how to decorate a cake.  She did amazing!!
Her letters and words were far better than mine!
We are very proud of our little one.

Easter 2015

Easter Treats

PEEP!

 They laid eggs!

Easter Fun

All three kids had butterflies land on them!

Ty is laying under the horse statue saying "help"
(just as big sister Ella had just done)

So Cort came to his "rescue"

Ahhh, they made it safely!

Cold February

What to do when it is the coldest February in years?

Pull up our pant legs, wear our socks on our hands,
and double fist it of course!

2015!

2015 has flown by so far!!

Ella did well ice skating for the first time this winter!

 A snowy Friday movie night.
This cozy seating arrangement didn't last very long...

Ty was very happy to see the snow!

Ella and Ty ready to go down the hill!

A second lost tooth! She was pretty excited!

Cort will FINALLY ride Sandy the horse at Meijer.
This is the first ride with a smile!

December

My attempt at gingerbread houses with the kids...
Cort is the green plate, Ty is the blue plate, Ella is the pink plate and mine is the yellow plate.

Christmas Eve with the boys!

On Christmas morning the boys woke up early, as usual, but Ella slept in late.  It was rather difficult to keep the 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 year old away from the gifts and stockings for 2 hours!

The boys got a bit silly when we were getting dressed the next morning.  They started with their Santa diapers, then...

these are my toes...

 and this is my nose!

Thank you to Grandma DW for the drum set!  It isn't as loud as you might expect and the boys are adorable when they play!

November

Ella turned 7 and had a birthday party!

Ella is 7!

I guess Cort's 5:15am wake up call proved to be too early for him!   Or maybe it was Dr. Seuss that lulled him to sleep. Either way, that hardwood floor doesn't look comfortable!

Cort and I also had a little one on one time when Ella was at school and Ty was at "school" with Grandma.

We had some very engaging conversation!

And a pastry, of course!

Who needs a piano bench when you have Tupperware!

Ella had a wonderful Thanksgiving feast at school that I got to help with!  All the kids were adorable! And the food was fantastic!

We were happy to see an 8k race come to our little town on Thanksgiving Day!  Peter ran it in the snow and we all came to watch!

The kids watching the runners finish!
