Have you heard?

We are expecting the next Elzinga!  We are thrilled to be given this blessing, even if it is a bit sooner than we were planning.  God's plan is always the best!
I just never expected to be reading both these books throughout my entire pregnancy!

We are due July 5, 2013 and Ty will have his first birthday on July 24, 2013.
Wow...it is a bit surreal yet.

Christmas

 Christmas Eve

Ella wanted to leave a cookie and milk for Santa.  She also wanted to leave carrots for the reindeer.  Then she wondered if they might want some dip with their carrots.  So she decided to leave a note to let the reindeer know that there was dip for their carrots. Too Cute!

On Christmas morning, she woke up and looked at the coffee table. The first thing she said was "they ate the dip too!"

 Christmas Day

We enjoyed our family time as we went to church, had lunch and opened gifts.  Ella helped with all Ty and Riley's gifts too.

Then we joined the rest of the clan for more food and gifts.

Our Christmas parties are now done for the year, and we are exhausted!
Ella has had the most with 6 days of parties this week!

Busy Busy

Ella and I made cookies this year, and she decorated every one of them!

Ella was also the flower girl in a wedding the weekend before Christmas.  She was excited about her real flower petals.

The next day Ella was part of her Sunday School Christmas program.  She did well singing the songs and doing motions!

First snow

This was the first time Riley had ever seen snow, so he wore his boots!
Riley walked as if he was on tip toes.  They didn't stay on long. All 4 were off by the time their short walk was done.

The smiles

I was able to catch smiles on both of the kids one morning!  We tried to get our dog Riley in the picture too, but he was too wild.

Ty is 4 months!

Ty is 4 months, November 24.  He loves his jumper!
