Great Wolf Lodge

Great Wolf Lodge

We made a quick trip to Great Wolf Lodge, as did everyone else!  The entire hotel was full!  We had a great time as usual!  It was a quick one night stay but well worth it!

We did some swimming and then dinner and bedtime story time.

The next day we did more swimming!

School Stuff

School Stuff

The three older kids have a lot of activities during school. Here are a few highlights!

Cort was outside on the big snow pile during school!

Ty had a field trip to a gymnastics place and it looks like he had plenty of energy!

Cort studied about trash and recycling, so they built creations with recyclable items. He built a robot!

This is actually a snow day challenge!  On snow days, the school sends out a challenge. One of them was to build an old lego set.  These are actually mom's old lego sets from 198???

Ella had a group project building a set with moving parts.  Her "mall" had a working miniature ceiling fan!

Ty had a special "Up in Lights" week at school where they highlight one student at a time to get to know them better. He was able to spend time with the class stuffed animal Mr. Giraffe.

Cort had a special mom's night that we were able to go to his class and do special activities together!

The next day, Cort was special helper in class so he was able to spend time with the class stuffed animal - Splat the cat.

The Chair...

The Chair

We have a chair in our living room.  Its a rocking chair with a rocking footrest. There is something about this chair.

Beware: if you sit in it, there is a strong chance of taking a nap!

Puppy love and doggy kisses - Gross!

Riley joined our family before Ty was born, so he has been a permanent fixture for the boys their entire life.  Riley likes to play with the kids and they like to play with him too.

I draw the line on doggy kisses....Gross!!

Birthdays!

The end of January provided two more birthdays.  A big and little one!

Peter turned the big.....

And Riley turned 6!

Peter and I were able to make a trip to Minnesota to visit friends for a long weekend before his birthday!  That was a great time to get away and hang out with adults (and no children).  Remember when....!!
