4th of July

4th of July!!

We went to the 4th of July parade and saw a special guest!!

 

 

 

 The parade started out with the airplanes flying overhead!

 

Tripp likes to point out when airplanes are flying, so he was quite enamored at these planes overhead! 

Then the long wait for the Vice-President!

                              

 

It was a beautiful day, so we hit the splash pad later in the day.  The boys were good and worn out!

The day after...

The day after Cort's birthday, he decided that my sink needed to be fixed! 

(I monitored the situation closely so that we didn't actually have to fix it afterward)

 Then we hit the beach with our green eyeball cupcakes.

 

Tis the season!

Cort turned 4!

 Cort got "real tools" for this birthday!

 

 We went out for lunch and the boys got a birthday treat.

 Cort asked for chocolate cupcakes with green frosting and eyeballs!

Ahhh, it's that time of year again, when our irish twins are the same age.  I think I am still getting used to this, but it has only been 4 years.

Ella and Eden spent a day with Nana!

While Ella was gone, the 3 monkeys and I set up our new tent.

Then Tripp had his first official real haircut.  His face didn't change the entire time! There is barely any hair there to begin with... oh well!

Until the end... this was as close to a smile as we could get!

Camping #2

Camping trip #2

We are off to a great start this summer and our second camping trip went really well with our new (used) camper!

Peter went to work, so the kids and I kept busy.  It had rained most of the night before and some of the morning, so we spent some time in the camper and off to the visitor center.

 They made face masks!

The rain stopped and we were able to roast hot dogs and make smore's.  

We took a nice little hike with a beautiful view!

 

Then off to the beach. But first, watch the big boat come through the channel.

 It was windy and slightly chilly, but this little guy was ready!

 Our camper is working well. We have our little kitchen cooking area all set up!

And the slider section of the screen door has been designated the drive thru window!
