We went flower shopping and they had little tiny carts for the kids.

After Cort's preschool graduation, they had a park party with games and bubbles and a special book from their teachers.

Cort graduates!

Cort had his preschool graduation!  He was VERY excited!!

More May

Tripp sat in the dentist chair for the first time while they counted his teeth! He looks so long and big in the picture, but in person he looked so little in the chair.

Ella had a big project at school called Market Day. Her team developed and produced a product and sold it! This was her nervous smile, but they all did so well!

The next morning she ran in her second 5k! She did amazing!!

And even got ice cream for "breakfast"!

Later that morning Tripp decided to "fix" the chair. He was very thorough!

Mothers Day Weekend

Mothers Day Weekend was fantastic!  Peter and the kids were especially kind and thoughtful.  It was also filled with lots of activities!

Saturday morning I ran a 10k and the rain held off until I was done. Then I met the family and my parents for breakfast which was fun. Ty and Cort showed up wearing some of Peter and my previous medals.

Ella brought her sunglasses (in the rain) because her future is so bright :)

Saturday afternoon was the tulip time parade.

Saturday evening, Ty and dad went to the Whitecaps game for all of the reading that Ty did in reading month!  Good job Ty!

Sunday we all went to the zoo!

Tripp was bonding with the rattlesnake.

The ducks were trying to be like the flamingos by tucking their heads back into their feathers.  I don't think it was working quite as well for the duck...

Some more spring stuff

I didn't realize Tripp was eating a cheese stick, so when I told him to say "cheese", he did it very literally!

The boys went for a picnic!

The Day of the Young Child is always fun for the kids.  Lots of different vehicles and animals.

May
Tripp put on wooden shoes for the first time. (with Aunt Barb)

Even though the weather is finally getting warm, Tripp couldn't separate from his me-me's. (mittens)

Project time at our house.  Daddy's little "helpers".

The boys told me that they made a sandwich.  Ty and Tripp are the bread and Cort is the meat.

Tripp had a little surgery. He did great through the surgery.  He was a little out of it afterward while all the stuff wore off.  His legs were numb and it took the rest of the day before he was able to walk again.

The hardest part was getting him to rest and take it easy in the days following.  Relaxing on the couch only lasted about an hour.
