Fall festivities!

Pumpkinfest activities started out a bit cold, so Tripp bundled up!

Ty was in the Pumpkinfest Parade this year!

Ty had a field trip to the pumpkin farm with school and picked a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch! As well as petting animals, going down a big slide, taking a hay ride, and riding on the pumpkin train!

Cort also had a field trip with school to a different farm. He got to feed goats, pet animals, take a hay ride, and ride a horse named Blaze!

Cort had his first day as special helper in 3-school! I think he enjoyed it, even if he didn't actually speak the entire time. He was excited to be the leader of the line!

As special helper, he was able to bring the stuffed bear home for a few days. He named him "Brown Bear". Brown Bear was a hit with all of the kids, but Cort spent special time with him and took him for a ride in his backhoe/loader!

First days (weeks) of school!

Last Camping of the season!

Our last camping for the season was over Labor Day weekend and the weather was amazing!!! We swam every day, and the evenings were cool!

Ella wasn't with us this weekend, but she did come for a visit and we were able to go swimming.

Another camping trip!

We have been able to camp a few times this summer. The latest trip was close to home...

Tripp has a new(used) bike seat!

Our first beach day was perfect!! Sunny, warm but not too warm, and warm water on the lake!!!

Ty and Cort got a little tired by the end and almost fell asleep in my chair!

Time for a little hike...

We made it to the top and took a little rest.

Our second beach day was cloudy, but we were still up for a dip in the warm lake!

However, it wasn't long before the rain came.

And our beach day turned into swim suits and rain boots!

Not a look I rock often, or ever.

The rain turned into thunderstorms and a few tornado's inland (not near us). As soon as the worst past, the kids were out playing in the rain and we came prepared!
