Ella's first day of school

Ella's first day of Young 5's!

Labor Day at Camp

We made the trip to Canada again, but this time with Ty!   It was his first trip to camp at 5 1/2 weeks old.  He did amazing! He had his first time in a hotel room, first time on Mackinaw Bridge, first boat ride, and first trip out of the country!  Here are a few pics!

Ty resumes his position for the last leg of the trip; complete with his friends, Sophie and Zeb.

Airplanes and stuff

A day at the airport!

Ella and Eden were able to sit in the pilots seats of the Amway helicopter!

Peter was able to sit there too!  I'm not sure who was more excited? The girls or Peter :)

They were also able to sit inside another airplane. Ty missed it as he peacefully slept through it all!

Sometimes we can't get her to smile or look at the camera. Other times she poses!

I went to the store...

I went to the store this morning.  No extraordinary activity.  No exciting purchase to make.  Just groceries and a some household items.  But, oh how different it was.

I left the house today, with my regular purse.  No diaper bag or princess dolls or stuffed animals.

I listened to Adele instead of Disney Princess songs or Baby Mozart.

I parked in any parking spot.  I didn't search for the spot closest to a cart corral for easiest dispersing of groceries, children and cart.

I shopped with a Starbucks coffee in my hand instead of a sippy cup or juice box.

I obtained my entire grocery list without interruption.

I did not stop to see the fish.
I did not stop to see the lobsters.
I did not stop to see the princess cake in the bakery.

I scanned all my own groceries at the You-Scan lane.

I did not search my purse for a stray penny and no one rode Sandy the horse.

I drove home with my radio loud and sang off tune as loud as I wanted, until...

a lone tear ran down my cheek.

Did I actually miss my little distractions?
Or was it the Adele song?

I do know that I went to the store this morning.  With my Starbucks, my lipstick, and my purse.
Oh, how different it was.

almost 2 weeks...

Well, the last (almost) 2 weeks have been exciting!  We have added a new member to our family and have had the joy of discovering him.   Ty has been such a calm baby!  He doesn't cry much and seems to sleep well!  He also squeaks when he eats.  Too cute :)

Ella has also been busy these 2 weeks.   She tried a gymnastics class and seemed to enjoy it! Now she is in swim class again, which she says is her favorite.

Blueberry picking!  Ella had Blue-licious day!
